Who We Are
Meet Sir. Maxwell, He is the reason I wanted to start my in-home breeding of Savannah Cats. He was my First savannah and He is an amazing guy. (Pictured at 16 weeks old). I first taught him to shake hands, and then it all started, he gives high fives, sits on command, goes to town with me, walks on his leash, loves to go hiking and fishing, speaks on command and even says mama... and he also rides a skateboard. He is the most amazing cat ever! Working with Max inspired me to take on the task of training for other breeders. It seemed I had a natural instinct to work with these beautiful cats. In 2012 I was asked by Abambu Cattery, other breeders and individules if I would help them with training kittens for therapy cats. YES Therapy! they make wonderful therapy cats and can also be registered with US Service Animals. I was so impressed by the intelegence and skill level of the kittens and becoming more attached to the breed that my heart was pulled into breeding. Starting in 2013, I worked with other catteries as a trainiee and was coached on kitten rearing. Thats when I first became a co-breeder with Abambu & ASafari Catteries here in Colorado. I began researching some of the top breeders and where the quality lines were bred and started growing our Savannah family. Our lines come from Drinkwater F1 savannahs, A1Savannahs who were origianally one of the foundation breeders, Summerwood Savannahs, Lotzospots, Epic and Kasbah Savannahs. In 2015, I bacame a registered TICA breeder of the Amazing Savannah Cat. My goal is to continue the linage of the highest quality Savannah traits, as I work with many top breeders and coaches across the United States. I am not a certified Holistic vet,...yet!.. but I am continuming studies in Holistic Veternarian practices. I am however certified in human holistic practices and want to carry the natural approach on to my cats health and well being as well.
In hybrid breeding starting with the wild lineage I believe we should keep them as close to nature and their natural habits, lifestyle and way of eating, as close as possible.
Injecting them with life threatning disease, vaccinations, is not the way of nature. Building their natural immunity with natural food and supplements keeps them in much better health and they will live a long and happy life. The Savannah's are not your normal cats, they are very intelegent, energetic and loyal felines. Once youve had one as part of your family I guarantee youll want another. And the size won't matter!
